About this position
RKD is looking to hire a Senior ASP.NET Application Developer. This position will be responsible for the architecting and development of high-profile client applications using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core and SQL Server. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the RKD production team providing technical knowledge and experience as well as ensuring a high degree of quality through input and initiative.
Responsibilities
- Planning and development of new web applications, working closely with designers and project managers
- Have an opinion on how to make things better, faster, and more efficient!
- Maintain and update existing web applications and legacy systems as required
- Actively participate in quality assurance and usability testing while maintaining established best practice standards
- Assist in providing client support as required
Essential skills
- Minimum 4 years web application development experience (ASP.NET / C# / SQL)
- Minimum 4 years experience with SQL and database technologies (MS SQL, My SQL, MS Access)
- Advanced knowledge of web technologies (HTML / CSS / jQuery / JavaScript)
- Experience developing using .NET Entity Framework, MVC, .NET Core
- Experience developing optimized, high-load applications
- Experience with mobile development platforms is a strong asset
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are required
- Must be a team player that can work independently and take direction from others
- Web agency experience a strong asset.

- Hours of work: 8:30am – 4:30pm
